Curious by nature. Commercial by experience.

We're Guy and Tasch Turner. Partners in life and business, intensely curious about how things work, why they stop working, and what might be possible if someone asks a different question.

Valencia, Spain.

We've spent our careers helping businesses find opportunities, navigate change and turn ambitious ideas into something commercially useful.

Between us, our experience spans commercial strategy, market and audience research, advertising, communications, publishing, digital transformation, technology and AI.

But our education hasn't happened entirely in boardrooms.

We've made a home in Spain, are establishing our next chapter in Cyprus, and work with partners across Australia, the UK and Austria. Tasch studied in Malaysia. We've been invited to New York by the American Australian Association, attended SXSW in Austin and met the Prime Minister of Timor-Leste.

We've also been evacuated by helicopter from Everest Base Camp in minus 38-degree temperatures. That wasn't quite the plan.

And, because apparently we don't find enough excitement in everyday life, we ended up filming ten episodes of prime-time television in Amsterdam for The Floor Australia, Season 2. Guy won two rounds and made it all the way to the grand final.

Closer to earth, we run a tourist rental in Spain. So we understand the realities of running a business, not just advising one.

We've experienced success, setbacks, unexpected opportunities and the occasional spectacular miscalculation. All of it has shaped how we think.

Experience isn't simply what you've achieved. It's what you've learned when things didn't go to plan.

Why Turner & Co

We connect the thinking with the doing.

Over the years, we've helped dozens of businesses and founders test their commercial viability, understand their audiences, rethink their positioning and prepare for what comes next.

And one lesson keeps returning: businesses rarely struggle because of a single problem. Commercial decisions affect communications. Technology changes operations. Growth creates new risks. Sometimes the solution everyone is chasing isn't the problem that needs solving.

That's why we created Turner & Co.

We bring together the kind of senior commercial, creative and technical experience that ambitious businesses need but can't always justify employing as a full corporate team.

We research, challenge assumptions, develop strategies and help build what's needed. From commercial planning and investment readiness to communications, digital products and preparing the groundwork for specialist advisers, we connect the thinking with the doing.

We've also worked with AI long before it became everyone's favourite headline. But we believe its widespread adoption makes original human thinking more important, not less. When everyone can generate a plausible answer, the advantage lies in recognising what others are missing.

We're comfortable with uncertainty. We respect risk. We believe in preparation, but also in recognising an opportunity and having the courage to act.

Because the next chapter rarely looks exactly like the last one. And that's what makes it interesting.

Guy and Tasch.

Media, markets and the systems behind them

Guy's parents met at Channel 10 in Adelaide, and he grew up changing the ad reels for Saturday afternoon television. He was MediaCom Adelaide's first junior digital coordinator, ran digital for News Corp in Western Australia, then led commercial strategy and insights at The West Australian through mergers, rebrands and the move from print to pixels.

He now works across commercial strategy, product and technology: this is his third major AI build, and along the way he has done product architecture, technical testing and commercialisation, NVIDIA Inception through Sport4, work with computer vision systems, and media viability work for ABC International Development in Timor-Leste, the Pacific and Southeast Asia. Legally trained, he writes long-form essays on the systems behind familiar stories.

People, stories and the evidence behind them

Tasch started in food and wine PR, moved into social strategy at Glam Digital in 2011, and has spent the years since working out what makes people stop, read and act. A psychology graduate, she led a digital transformation team at Western Australia's Department of Health and ran its plain English training.

Now she runs workshops to find a brand's voice, writes and coordinates international funding proposals, most recently FUTURE NEXT, a Horizon Europe submission for a consortium across Europe, and lets the split test, not her ego, decide.
